Norm is a Canadian creative hair designer who has embraced 3D printing since 2020. He has closely followed Flsun’s product developments and has acquired each generation of their printers, starting with the inaugural Q5 and QQS-Pro, and progressing to the subsequent SR and V400 models, owning three SRs in total. Norm has recently completed an intricate clothing project characterized by its unique design and impressive execution. The specifications included 0.2mm layer height, 15% infill, a PLA hotbed temperature of 60°C, and a nozzle temperature of 220°C. Each garment was composed of four main sections, with each section containing 14 smaller segments. It took approximately 1 hour and 47 minutes to print each segment. After printing all 14 pieces, he employed a 3D welding pen to meticulously join each precision-crafted part of the V400, ensuring everything was perfectly aligned, down to the model’s neckline. This complex fashion endeavor demanded considerable patience and expertise, culminating in a total printing duration of around 400 hours. Norm’s dedication extended beyond printing and heat molding the model’s neckline in segments; he also meticulously adjusted the pieces to guarantee the garment’s optimal fit and comfort. The project was a labor of love for Norm, and the final product was immensely gratifying.
